Zen.IT Festival | Kamena Gora, Serbia
Participated in forming of the first sustainable music festival Zen.IT Festival 2011 in Kamena
Gora, Serbia. Was a leading artist for bio-construction workshops involving construction and
realization of Zen.IT Gardens, trough collaboration with fellow artists Natasa Prljevic and Velimir Popovic.
The festival was guided with strong and well-organized eco
concepts through six steps (strings): 1) Not generating waste; 2) Using renewable energy
sources; 3) Using energy-efficient transportation; 4) Working with sustainable factors;
5) Creating the inclusive and respective atmosphere; 6) Leading social change towards
sustainability.
The Zen.IT garden was made out materials found in the immediate environment with respect to the local natural area. Traditional crafting skills and wood weaving from this region were implemented in to the design.
